Job Summary
The Sales Officer is responsible for generating leads, managing client relationships, and achieving branch sales target.
Job Details
Business Development & Lead Generation:
-Identify and prospect new business opportunities across targeted corporate and retail sectors.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive penetration of the company’s insurance products.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, client needs, and competitor activities.
- Schedule and attend sales meetings, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
Sales Execution & Target Achievement :
- Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Prepare and submit sales proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients and brokers.
- Follow up on leads and convert prospects to policyholders.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities.
Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and intermediaries.
- Provide timely responses to inquiries and resolve client issues efficiently.
- Conduct periodic client engagement meetings to ensure high service satisfaction.
- Support clients throughout the policy lifecycle (from onboarding to renewal).
Requirements
- HND/B.Sc. in Insurance or any related discipline.
- CIIN certification will be an advantage.
- 3 - 5 years experience.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services sector is an added advantage.
