Job Summary

To carry out operational risk functions (Identification, Assessment, Control, Monitor, Report and review) effectively in AIICO Insurance Plc.

Job Details

  • Ensure implementation of operational risk framework and strategy in AIICO
  • Ensure the Implementation/maintenance of ISO 22301 culture throughout the organisation
  • Ensure the implementation/maintenance of ISO 27001 culture throughout the organisation
  • Challenge the status quo by serving as an internal operational risk consultant to the operating functions and business lines
  • Conduct risk assessment of various Functions/Divisions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with line managers for better management of operational risks within AIICO Insurance Plc.
  • Participate in project teams and liaise with the business unit representatives
  • Yearly review and recommend for approval necessary amendments in operational risk management framework and processes
  • Prepare Management and Board reports
  • Carry out other work as may be assigned

Requirements

  • B.Sc/HND (Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or any related Discipline)
  • CERA, MBA, MSc. would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years middle management position
